Perfect transmission of movement to frames, wheels and track
The Ci1 iD is the superlative of the current standard Ci1 and is the result of continuous development, testing and improvement of our shoes. What makes this shoe better than anything Cádomotus has made so far? First of all, the new innovative footbed. In this new design, the power from the shoe is optimally transferred to frames, wheels and ultimately the track. In other words: the full effort you put in is translated by the shoe, so you don't waste any energy.
For example, the footbed has been made a bit flatter, which is extremely beneficial for your double push . No shoe from the past has helped you adopt the inline technique like this shoe, which is ideally suited to track racing at the highest level. Because it is a hard shoe that fully supports your foot, translates your movement perfectly and therefore offers perfect control, both in the bends but certainly also at full speed on the straights.
With the Ci1 iD you don't know where your foot ends and the shoe begins. You no longer tie your laces, but you tighten them, which helps you to adjust the shoe as precisely as you want to your foot. And that foot, which is as it were embraced by the shoe, remains perfectly in place due to a number of anatomically well-thought-out key points. The shoe fits at least as closely as a custom shoe, is heat-mouldable, and has free mounting points for your frames, which makes perfect alignment possible. As a result, it delivers unprecedented precision, has a large push-off range, stability and control and an optimal distribution of pressure over your entire foot.
Light, comfortable and strong inline skate shoe
Other important changes we've made to the design of this shoe are in the material we've used, the way we've built up the carbon, and the whole thing that makes up the shell of the shoe with the rest of the synthetic microfibre used. is for the lining and further construction. The choice of carbon alone makes a big difference: the Japanese Toray Advanced Composites distinguishes itself by high-quality carbon, which is used in aerospace or Formula 1, for example, and is therefore the ideal partner in our opinion to supply their top material to Cádomotus.
Of course, we use this top material as optimally as possible. Each part of the shoe has a specific layering, which makes it an optimal whole. The stiffness, strength or deformability of each part of the shoe is perfectly matched to the function it has. For example, some parts of the sole are non-deformable, so that every muscle contraction is passed on in your foot. The result? Unprecedented control of the skate. Or take the heel counter, which is made in such a way that it secures your foot in the shoe, resulting in optimal stability.
The monocoque shoe, which means that it is made in one piece, is cleverly constructed, making it at least as good as a custom shoe. This means that the liner, carbon shell and leather are fully integrated into each other. Thanks to our unique techniques, precision and craftsmanship, these parts of the shoe form one indivisible whole. The result? A light, strong and comfortable shoe, without sharp edges, seams or pressure points on the inside. The synthetic microfibre leather we use for the shoe is also more stretchy than regular leather, has less friction, breathes better and is stronger. All in all, it provides more comfort and you also last longer with your shoe.
